Below is a clear breakdown of what is covered, what is excluded, and how to submit a claim.

Policy Overview

  • Duration: Valid for exactly 365 calendar days from your official website launch date.
  • Eligible Platforms: This policy applies strictly to WordPress websites designed and developed by Marvel Marketing.

What is Covered

This warranty acts as a safety net for the original work we delivered. We cover any bugs, technical errors, or malfunctions deeply rooted in our original design and development phase, including:

  • Core functional programming and coding errors.
  • Layout or design alignment breaks created by our team.
  • Broken navigation links or menus built during initial development.
  • Server-side configuration errors on our recommended hosting environments.

What is Excluded

To protect the integrity of the website framework, this warranty only covers our untouched, original work. It does not cover issues caused by post-launch changes or external influences.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Post-Launch Changes: Adding new pages, changing text, altering layouts, or introducing new features after launch.
  • User-Inflicted Mishaps: Accidents, website crashes, or broken layouts caused by your internal team attempting to edit the code, database, theme options, or WordPress settings.
  • Third-Party Interventions: Breaks caused by external marketing agencies, SEO companies, PPC specialists, or other freelancers (unless the work was explicitly performed by Marvel Marketing).
  • Updates & Security: Issues arising from automatic or manual updates to WordPress core, third-party plugins, themes, or hosting environments. It also excludes hacking, malware, or brute-force attacks.
  • External Factor Shifting: Broken connections from external tools changing their software (e.g., Google Maps, payment gateways) or issues caused by new browser/mobile updates released after your launch.

⚠️ Please Note: This warranty will become instantly void if any unauthorized third party accesses or alters the website’s source code, hosting environment, or main WordPress backend files.

Your Responsibility

While your warranty is active, you retain sole responsibility for maintaining active, secure website and database backups. Marvel Marketing is not liable for data loss or corrupted content during the warranty period or subsequent troubleshooting.

How to Submit a Claim & Timelines

If you spot an issue that you believe is covered under this policy, please fill out the official claim form at the bottom of this page.

Our Service Level Agreements (SLA) for warranty claims are:

  1. Initial Response: We will acknowledge your ticket within 1 business day (Monday to Friday).
  2. Technical Diagnosis: We will investigate and provide an official root-cause diagnosis within 1 business day of our initial response.

Resolution Pricing:

If the diagnosis proves the issue is a bug from our original build, we will fix it completely free of charge. If the diagnosis reveals the issue was caused by an excluded item (such as a plugin update or user error), our standard hourly development rates will apply to fix it.

This is not covered under the standard warranty. WordPress, themes, and plugins update constantly to maintain security and features. Because these updates are controlled by third-party developers, Marvel Marketing cannot guarantee their future compatibility for free. To keep your site safely updated, we recommend enrolling in one of our Paid Monthly Maintenance Plans.

No. While we build WordPress to be user-friendly, user-inflicted accidents, broken layouts, or deleted elements caused by your internal team editing the backend are excluded. We can easily fix it for you, but it will be billed at our standard hourly development rate.

Your warranty remains fully active unless that third-party agency makes a change that breaks the website. If their code tracking, plugin installations, or optimizations disrupt the site, the repair is not covered. However, if Marvel Marketing is handling your PPC, SEO, or marketing, your warranty remains completely unaffected.

Your warranty will be instantly voided if any unauthorized third party (such as another developer, freelancer, or unapproved hosting provider) accesses, changes, or alters the website’s core source code, hosting environment, or main WordPress administrative backend files.

We will respond to your submission form within 1 business day (Monday to Friday). From there, our development team will run a diagnostic check and provide an official root-cause report within 1 business day. If it is a valid warranty bug, we will provide a timeline and fix it immediately at no cost.
